University heads agree to have had a bigger share of money

It has been a debate for some time now with claims that the varsity heads had allocated themselves a bigger share than expected in the Sh7.8 billion that was meant for the university staff. This was disclosed to the Parliamentary Committee on Education as they admitted that the University heads have been benefiting more from the salary reviews and increases than the rest of the staff.
With all these claims over years the  University Academic Staff Union (UASU) and the Kenya University Staff Union (KUSU) want the varsity heads prosecuted for economic crimes.
